Agreed, why "keep on" doing it? Blurred, can't see a dam thing. He won't be told he's just won't be told.

Nice shot Gary, with the Virginia Range hills being out on the Eastern side of the airport.

This aircraft was destroyed in a crash shortly after taking off on Runway 19 from Greenwood-Indy South Greenwood Airport, Indiana, USA. The 2005 Lancair impacted the ground in a high-speed left turn, killing the owner-pilot.

I love this picture.
Great composition framing one of my favourite aircraft.

Yeah, looks like a 727 to me.

Written on 30/07/2025 by Michael Boring

Departures usually rotate a bit earlier than this one did. So normally, departing aircraft are higher as they come past this location which means it is not common to get those Virginia Range hills in pics as backdrops to departing aircraft. But since this took a little longer run down 17R before rotating away, it was still low as it went past and the hills were directly beyond it.

I believe this registration was given to the 737 after the 727 was retired.

Written on 29/07/2025 by warmwynds

@BaasG if that's a Puma AS332, then the correct ICAO code is AS32, not AS33.

Written on 29/07/2025 by Colin Seftel

Walter, if you insert the correct ICAO code H-160, your photo will be correctly identified and indexed.

Written on 29/07/2025 by Colin Seftel

Theo, if you use the correct ICAO type code TOR, yout photo will be correctly identified and indexed.
